Here's the recipe for the Tamale Supper Kay Shaulis & I shared in a recent video. We surprised you with our version of I'll Fly Away as well, which included Kay's husband Bruce. Bon apetit!
Ingredients, 1 dozen tamales; one 15-16oz. can turkey chili; 3/4 c. chopped fresh green chiles or one 4- oz. can chopped green chiles; one 2.25-oz. can sliced black olives, drained; 1 tbsp. garlic powder; 2 c. shredded cheddar cheese.
Preheat oven to 350. Unwrap tamales & place in 9x13 oblong casserole dish. Pour chili over tamales. Sprinkle w/garlic powder. Top w/green chiles, olives and cheese. Bake 30 minutes or til bubbly hot & cheese is melted. Enjoy!
